Re: Something to be ashamed of?

In the alps you can easily start ...

Re: Wellies on Munros?

When I was on Mull last year and British Airways had lost my luggage at Heathrow as always, I bought some Dunlop Wellies for 20 quid in Tobermory instead of trekking shoes. For a tour on Lunga they were perfect and all other tourists with their trekking shoes were jealous. I bet I was the only guy o...

Sadly, most of my TRs have more than 25 photos. Walkhighlands restricts the number of attachments to only 25. Basically, I'm now condemned to Flickr.

May be worth flagging this to Paul, perhaps he can drop this limitation as well now his server is more performing.

Re: Google Photos problem - please, help

I've been experimenting with Flickr and refreshed my latest TR - hope this works now for everybody? https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=92704 Works for me. I find flickr a bit fiddly and annoying, but might be helpful for storing photos in the future. And it only allows 10...

Re: Google Photos problem - please, help

I had the same issue. It is a major issue but google has and will do nothing to fix it. It‘s a shame. I use flickr now plus I download pdfs of my reports just in case. Google bad :-x

Re: Unusual summit features

I always find military structures on summits strange / unusual. Saxa Vord, Shetland. Helen is ahead of me. We have been working on a book though! And you've been to North Rona   Might be tempted to get a copy of that book. Looks interesting! Yep, there‘s a report of my Rona trip on this site https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=65631 and a dude...

Re: Birds and Basalt on Lunga (Treshnish) and Staffa

Fantastic pics again. The waterfalls are worth a visit close up. I'm guessing you have maybe done that already though. Staffa is a must visit place and your trip looked really good. I've been from Iona but no Puffins when I went. Too early in the year but still well worth the visit to the island, a...
