Re: A Defining Moment - Beinn Alligin

I enjoyed reading your post! Beinn Alligin is one mountain that I didn't get the chance of experiencing while in Scotland. While I was on Liathach, I would look over to the horns and picture myself on them. Hopefully one day I will get to walk across them. Congrats!

The Duke and Eric Bana go for a walk on An Teallach

Here is a short video of our walk across An Teallach http://youtu.be/Dvenin7N0ao My buddy and I had planned years ago that An Teallach would be the last walk we would do prior to leaving the UK. The time had come last weekend to honor that promise. We arrived in Inverness on Thursday where we planne...

Re: Surviving four seasons on Aonach Eagach

Hey Fife. I agree with your comment. When I snapped that pic of the descent from Am Bodach my a@$ puckered a bit...I think the clag made it worst because we couldn't pick out a path till we were right up against the rock. It was still an amazing ridge walk.

Surviving four seasons on Aonach Eagach

Hey everybody! Hope this post finds everyone well. A buddy and I decided to tackle the Aonach Eagach ridge in Glencoe. The walk was fantastic but even more so is how amazing Scotland's weather is. I think she was showing off because she treated us to all four seasons in the span of 8 hours while on ...

Always Sunny on Suilven

Bagging Suilven was quite an excursion. Total round trip was a little over 14 miles. Most of the way is on a decent path till you get to the small cairn that signifies leaving the path to get to the base of Suilven. The going after the cairn was boggy...I can only imagine how bad it would be after a...

Lucky on Liathach

Ever had a mountain that when the first time you saw it in a magazine, drive by, or a movie you had to climb it? I was back in California hiking the John Muir trail with a couple of my buddies, and one of them pulled out a book one evening. The book was called Great Mountain Days in Scotland: 50 Cla...

Scorcher on Crib Goch 15 APR 14

Had a fantastic day out in Wales on my day off. Had a go at the Snowdon Horseshoe. The weather was by far the best I've ever had in Wales. Here is a short video of my walk across Crib Goch. Hope everyone is doing well.

Re: Troup Head

Wow! Most excellent pics Paul! There is a small island named Skomer just off the Pembrokeshire coast that has a lot of good bird watching too. Nice place to visit in the spring.
