Another single

Cracking stalkers path up, still lots of snow up top which influenced our descent down the South shoulder instead of retracing or Am Bathaich. Nice handy snowfield helped with the descent for around 100 m. $matches[2] $matches[2] $matches[2] $matches[2] $matches[2] $matches[2] 97a93361-851f-418d-acd...

Nice gentle restart

Another restart after lockdown, back on the Munro trail after some stuttering over the last few years. Nice walk, good company, hellish drive

The last of the Holy Trinity

Awesome day with Dad returning to the hills. Weather perfect and not too busy on the hills either which was nice. Did the first two pinnacles then dropped down to the bypass as time was running out in terms of daylight. Loved every minute of the day. No dogs though as we were doing the pinnacles. 95...

Single Munro day

With Dad recovering from his sore knee I got the chance to head out myself for a day. Weather wasn't great but i wanted to keep up the fitness and get a Munro done. Had planned on the Corbett too but zero visibility at the summit so headed back the way i came, probably lacking a bit of confidence gi...

Had plans to head over the road to do Beinn nan Oighreag after but Dad was really struggling with his knee today so that meant a rather stop/start to the return to the hills
Pleasant small climb nonetheless

Mither Tap with Laura and the boys

Met some of Fraser's friends (Blake and Abbigail) at the Bennachie centre with the parents socially distancing during the walk. Laura manged to do it even while 5 months pregnant. I carried Rory on the carrier and Fraser walked the whole way but insisted on wearing his wellies. fd8a28e3-e9e0-47a5-af...

Brimmond Hill

During lockdown I was able to meet my mum and dad to do a socially distanced walk to my local hill Brimmond. Laura and Rory stayed at home while myself and Fraser did the walk.

Dusting off the lockdown cobwebs

Myself and Dad easing ourselves back into the bigger hills after lockdown. The track made it a gentle walk but it fair got the enthusiasm back. I was worried I'd lost my hill mojo.
