WE GOT TO NORTH OF LAGGSN WHERE THE ROUTE FOLLOWS THE OLD RAILWAY LINE TO FIND THE ROUTE SHUT DUE TO LOGGING AGAIN!!! DIVERSION, DIVERSION, DIVERSION! LOGGING IN THE FOREST BETWEEN ACHNACARRY AND LAGGAN. HORRENDOUS. DID NOT ENJOY THIS PART OF WALK. I have walked from Berwick to Eyemouth regularly. I have done all but between St Abbs to Pease Bay. It is a beautiful part of the Country that isn't 'popular' I hope to keep it that way. The Wild camping is sublime. ssshhh, don't tell everyone...
