Re: Beinn Ime and Beinn Luibhean, by the Butterbridge.

Hey! Yes .....I approached A'Crois as part of a day out from Narnain summit on a bright sunny day probably the easiest and most scenic route. I came down from the East following a deer track through rough, tufty grass but next time I'll try the steep path down to join the Glen Loin Loop forest path ...

Re: Beinn Ime and Beinn Luibhean, by the Butterbridge.

It's a great wee hill if your looking for somewhere off the beaten track as an alternative to the other more popular Arrochars :-) Great views to the Cobbler from this summit too. I often find you only get to know a hill once youv'e looked at it from one of it's neighbours and from a different angle...

Re: Cairn Gorm Snowhole

Wow! That 'snow hole' should be on Grand Designs :-) It's palatial! In fact ..I'm moving in soon as ...Squatters Rights....what's the grid reference? The Llarig Ghru and the Rothiemurcus Forest are my favourite places. I 'bounced' the Cairngorm 4000ers and wild camped on Angels Peak with the ...

Bubba and The Humphreys

Meet The Humphreys.....Boot Camps latest recruits on a day out in the Kilpatrick Hills. A circular, half-day tour of Marlyns (low rolling hills below 600m) in Scotland starting at Old Kilpatrick Railway Station, about 16.5km (roughly 10.3 miles) long and suitable for families with children, but unsu...

Re: Ben Lomond via Ptarmigan route

The Ptarmigan route is definitely the best route up Ben Lomond in terms of views and interest ....but I use the 'tourist route' back down if I'm short of time and just want an easy route back of the mountain :-0 Bubba Ptarmigan.jpg The views down Loch Lomond and over to the Arrochar Alps from the Pt...

Re: Cobbler, Chockstone Gully

Re: Winter Sunset on Ben Ime

Thanks 2 many yorkies :-) I've done steak on all the Arrochars including your favourite and mine Ben Insane (Ben Vane), Ben Lomond and Ben Nevis.

Winter Bubba-Qs are my favourite when you get the contrast of steak and snow :-)
