Re: Cadair Idris full frontal assault + Cyfrwy Table & Arete
Got a picture of me on Summit aged 11, now 50 years later, it's time I went back. Love the report and description, a good scramble always adds to the fun

Re: Canada - The West Coast Trail - Vancouver Island
Hi Chris
Not been on for a while, but your trip looked and sounded fantastic. Whilst bimbling around the Lake District, it makes me realise reading your report, how small our island is and how much I need to visit Canada.
All the best, keep moving, Dave

Re: Y Garn & Elidir Fawr
Great report and loved the pics. Wales is on the cards for several visits next year. Eilidir Fawr is one I've missed, looked like a great day.

Re: Mellbreak & Hen Comb
Hi JKL, great pics as usual and I fully concur with the translation of Mosedale as a wet and boggy place . It almost makes the 'Lake with Grass' classification but I guess some more rain is needed
You can't be far off compleating the lot, keep posting. Dave

Re: Moel Hebog from Cwmystradllyn
Another great report, Pops. Now the Wainwrights are done I think Wales is next and your great pics will provide a springboard. I did a similar goof up on Arran at the ripe old age of 16, contemplating whether to jump or scramble. a bum twitching learning experience never forgotten

Munros 2 Dave 1
The trip had been planned since June and I was originally coming alone, but to my surprise my eldest James said he’d join me. So it was we travelled to Ratagan on Thursday to stay in the SYHA. We shared the drive and prayed for the weather and saw the Buachaille and the Ben in great shape. Journey U...

Re: Mosedale Horseshoe: Pillar to Yewbarrow
Nice day out and good pics despite the clag. Stirrup Crag is 'interesting' and can take a little adrenaline to go up it  Yewbarrow is a great viewpoint when you can see anything. The Western fells always seem much quieter than some of the more popular areas. On both recent trips up Middle Fell,...

Re: Clogwyn y Person Arete - If Carlsberg did Scrambles!
Wonderful report Houdi, once I started it I couldn't stop. Your descriptions and observations of what is a scramble align with my own. 'Hands on walking' no ropes or other bits of kit. That Oh 'S**t' feeling is one I know well, but still here to laugh about it. Glad you survived the experience...
