Yes, had a look and think this is the one I will go for.

Thanks 😊

Re: Camp night before near Creag Meagaidh

I take it you don't want to carry your camping gear? As you can camp at Lochan a'Choire and on or near the summit. Na, ATM I could only manage a car camp or bike pack as my back is playing up. It looks like it would be a great place to camp though. Watched your YouTube video bye the way, gave me a ...

Yes, that’s what I was wondering - essentially is the rob Roy way a cycle path as well. It hints at it but not totally sure.

Excellent idea, never visualised that route and should be nice and quite.

Traverse BenVane and Ben Ledi

I was thinking of traversing the ridge from Benvane to Ben Ledi tomorrow (going from north to south). Anyway I thought of leaving a bike at the end of the walk (beginning of Ben Vane) and then cycling back to my car along the Rob Roy Way to get to my car at Balliemore. has anyone done this ? Is it c...

Lochan na Earba

Hi everyone

I was thinking of finishing the Ardverikie Munros by cycling in from Kinloch Laggan and camping on the shores of Lochan na Earba. Anyway, given recent events I just wanted to ask is there good spots along the Lochan, and should I be pretty much free from other folk there ?

Cheers.

Cycling Glen Shiel, which Way is easiest ?

Hi everyone
Thinking of doing the South Glen Shiel Ridge or 5 sisters. Is it easier to cycle east to west or west to easy along the road ? I heard there was one way that was a nightmare.
Cheers

Re: ‘New walkers’ on the hills.

Thanks everyone, Really interesting thoughts on why it’s so busy. Especially things I never thought of such as: no car sharing, gyms shut and people still on furlough. Hopefully, things will settle soon. Going to do Loch Pattack in the next day or so, I know there will be a few tents, but mainly exp...

Yes, realise that but Ben Vane was like Ben Lomond on Saturday. Plus I heard a lot of similar stories in other places like Blair Atholl.

Re: ‘New walkers’ on the hills.

. I don't think we should be discouraging new walkers but I do have concerns about estates losing the plot and become less walker friendly as a result of dozens and dozens of cars making single track roads even more of a nightmare than they are already. Yes, it’s interesting to work out why it’s so...

‘New walkers’ on the hills.

Hi everyone I was in Arrochar the other day and it was busier than I have ever scene it. I have been walking for 10 years. Anyway, I was wondering if people agree that it’s busier than usual and why thoughts on why might be the cause ? Essentially has Coronavirus made hillwalking appealing to a whol...

Re: Ben bane via Alt Coiregrogain.

I can confirm you can get onto the Bealach (between Ime and Vane) from the track south of Ben Vane along Alt Coiregrogain. We did it today and it made a great circular route, and the Bealach itself was rugged and stunning. We scrambled up a cutting in the rock about two meters further on than the wa...

Re: National Park and Forestry car parks fiasco.

The car park at Loch Mòraig today!   : Came back to sheer carnage. Probably 75 cars parked mainly on the verge or in the middle of a single track road. Hopefully nobody has a heart attack, puncture or breakdown because the chances of getting anything other than a car/SUV in an...
