Re: Hitting 150 in Glen Etive

Fantastic views and photos - great to see that area from a slightly more unusual angle too. Looked a tough slog up those slopes though.

Re: Ben Lawers car park - road open/drivable?

On Sat 2 Feb cars were parking around half a mile from the car park and walking from there onto the Tarmachan ridge and Ben Lawers.

Ben Lawers car park - road open/drivable?

I posted this on the snow conditions thread but probably the wrong one to choose!
Does anyone now if this road from Killin is open/drivable? I know it's not treated. Also whether the continuation of the road above the reservoir is passable too.
Many thanks

Re: Current snow conditions thread 2019

Does anyone know if the mountain road up to the Ben Lawers car park is open/drivable?
Also the road beyond that above the reservoir?
I know it's not treated as such.
Many thanks

Re: Northern Cairngorms 'winter' wander

Nice report and photos - having just come back from Cairngorm last night, it is like another planet compared to the browns and golds you had - all plastered in white (for as long as it lasts!).

Re: South Uist's Beinn Mhor: Eyed up by a Sea Eagle

Thanks Chris. It's a beauty of a hill and the Uists offer some stunning low level walks too. Those beaches!

It's one of the best views I've had of a sea eagle in Scotland - it seemed so curious. We were certainly getting checked out :)

Re: Christmas Day on Dùn da Ghaoithe

What a shame you didn't get the views! :( Interested to read about how you got on with that walk - tried it once and ran out of time and had to go back; didn't realise it was quite so long. Must be tremendous vistas on a clear day.

Re: South Uist's Beinn Mhor: Eyed up by a Sea Eagle

Great to hear you enjoyed the report and photos, Hillbeback including some photos from other walks. I'm embarrassed at times at how many I take on each walk, it's an obsession  Hope you manage out to the Uists some day - fantastic islands.
