Stob Coire Sgriodain and Chno Dearg, April 2024

#229 Stob Coire Sgriodain
#230 Chno Dearg
Took a chance, and it worked out well as the weather was great - no rain, great views, just a bit windy. Cloud base at 800 m to begin with but it lifted before i got to the first summit. Also did top (Meal Garb?).

Creag Meagaidh circuit, February 2024

#221 Carn Liath
#222 Stob Poite Coire Àrdair
#223 Creag Meagaidh
Just me. Snow on ground above 600 m everywhere, and clear views to begin with. After the first Munro, the clouds came down and no more views. No rain or snow from above though, so can’t complain :-)

Meall a' Bhuachaille, December 2023

Corbett #9
With Callum, PJ, Keith S, Keith T, and John. Great walk although very windy. We did this as an alternative to a Munro as the conditions were bad on the West Side and at higher altitudes in general.

Ben Avon, August 2023

#220
Me and Sylwia. Used bikes all the way to the “V” section before the final ascent. Saved loads of time especially on the way back. Good weather most of the time - got wet at one point on the way down but dried off before we got back to the car.

#219 Sgorr Ruadh Weather much better today, so decided to do both mountains. Quite tired as this is the third day walking in a row. Did Fuar Tholl first - it was harder than I’d thought. Great views though. Then trudged back down, and up Sgorr Ruadh. Very tired but the views were out of this world! ...

Seven of us on Callum’s stag do. Weather was quite tough - windy with bursts of severe rain, on and off for the whole walk. Amazingly though, we had great views at all summits and we were never really in the clouds. Out on the town in Inverness later on :-)

On 10 year wedding anniversary holiday to Mull! 4 degrees C at start but clear blue skies. Cloud only at peak of Ben More. Warm on the way up, only getting colder on final ascent of Ben More, in and out of the clouds at the summit. Otherwise great views for the whole route! First Munro for a while s...
