Re: Variations on Two Fine Ardnamurchan Horseshoes

Re: At last, the Fisherfield 6, and again

Well done to Alan in getting his completion in the bag. I'm sure the Rioja at the top tasted sweet :D And best wishes for you when you get to Ben Hope for your last one- I think that was my very first Munro which Alan and I did via the north approach in around 1993  Thanks for the great repo...

Re: GPS gadget

Hi Tim. My son lost a Garmin etrex 10 - black with some yellow colouring. He was waliking on Wednesday, 31 May. He started at the Ben Lawyers Hotel and went up to the summit of Meall Greigh - the last time he remembers having it. He thinks he dropped it there but not completely sure. He then went to...

Re: Fisherfield conditions

Planning on going up next week so if anyone has any update on snow conditions, that would be very helpful. My ice axe and crampons are old and heavy!

Re: Private roads and silly cars

Hi. Can anyone advise me on the following please. I am planning on doing the munros at the end of Glen Dessary in a couple of weeks. Can anyone confirm that the road along Loch Arkaig is better than earlier in the year? It would be useful to know if it's OK to drive along to the car park at the end....

Re: Big day out in Glen Dessary

Hi. I was interested to read your account. I am planning on doing the munros at the end of Glen Dessary in a couple of weeks. Can you confirm that the road along Loch Arkaig is not as bad I've heard. It seems to have been in very bad condition to the point that people were avoiding driving along it ...

Re: Sgurr Choinnich, Sgurr a'Chaorachain and the World Cup

Hello. Just registered and catching up with reports. I obviously liked your report and thanks for missing out the bit about how long I took to get down the slope with one knackered trekking pole and broken body! Alan
