I've got a pair of Sky Kahas and they've been amazing tbh. They're the Event ones not goretex. Worn in deep snow around Cairngorm lower hikes, Trossachs, Pentlands etc plus every other normal hike since. Been thoroughly soaked, muddy etc and always remained very breathable, waterproof, comfy, light ...

The western section of the loch is private estate and should not be followed, we spoke with the very nice estate manager who pointed us around the eastern side instead.
