Great report.
Their next on my list and I'm wondering if they can be done from the WWWay along from Kinlochleven?

Being nan Oighreag

Walked from Meall Geordie starting point up the track to just short of 540385 then directly due North to the summit. Took us 1 hour less than WH recommended route. Don't know why they suggest that route.
Came straight back down.
Good walk.

Re: Foil Blanket, Mobile Phones, Helicopter Rescue, Broken B

Interesting report. Like you I do lot of solo walking and fortunately have never needed assistance -so far! I have the Cairn app which enabled my wife and another friend to track my progress in real time. It's a good peace of mind thing to have and would show my location if I came to a halt. I was e...

Re: Sgiath a'Chaise from Glen Ample

PXL_20221104_132119120.jpg Did this walk today. It's a good walk with excellent views. Not too taxing and although we had a monsoon day on Wednesday not too boggy lower down. I walked along to Meal Mohr and further before descending. It's ok but you need to cross part of the 'dead' forest which it'...

Re: Climbing Stob Binnein only (Not via Ben More)

I did it from Inverlochlarig. Once you get up a bit it becomes an excellent ridge walk. No problems at all and you can buy local lamb and venison at the farm!

Creag Ruadh

Parked at layby beyond yacht club. Steep land Rover track at first then fairly gentle walk up the Glen. Turned right after a while as indicated on OS route. Another mile or more on the track then up the hill over heather moors. Near the top pleasantly surprised by the rocky top area. Decent views. T...

Very good report thanks. We are considering the Munro from Corrour and wondering how to fill the day so doing LU is a great idea. Like your report for the detailed basic information and the photos

Re: Whangie & Devils Pulpit

The whole area has been double yellow lined. Any laybyes are sure to be full. I would suggest get a lift or a taxi or park near Killearn and walk down. It's only a mile or so
