Thanks guys. I now have a day more than anticipated, so I'm planning to stay in the hostels at Corpach, Laggan, Fort Augustus and Drumnadrochit. This will give me a shorter day in the middle for some R & R in Fort Augustus!

Anyone tackled the start of Ben Avon (via Gleann an-Slugain) on a bike. From the profile it looks like the first 8Km and maybe 12Km are possible on a bike. Can anyone comment on condition of tracks? I've done this a couple of times and left the bike where the track forks at about 128 950. The track...

Great Glen Way in 4 days

I'm thinking of doing the GGW over 4 days with stops at Gairlochy/Spean Bridge, Fort Augustus, and Drumnadrochit.

Anyone done this, or a similar itinerary? Any thoughts or advice welcome....
