Hutchinson memorial hut 26th October.

Hey walk highlanders,

I left a pair of waterproof trousers in the hut on Saturday night, 26th october, there was a father and son from Forres staying the night too. I can provide more information about the trousers and would be very grateful for their return if anyone comes across them.

I googled both the grea t skua and w.t.e but they are both very similar. I suppose you would have to examine it a bit further to see what was in it? There were plenty of great skuas about and a eagle had been seen the day before! It was located at the first view point over looking the cliffs after y...

Found this in the great Stack area of Handa island, looks like some kind of owl pellet!!

Any ideas?

Handa island

Hey folks,

Heading to handa island next week, opens beginning of April, I am hoping to take my 1 year old daughter. Does anyone know if this would be a problem taking a 1 year old across on the speed boat?

Reminds me of having to turn back from attempting the devils ridge from steal falls and having to turn back after the first Munro, my pal even lost his black diamond helmet on the top, lesson to us was the old happy tortoise.....unhappy tortoise :lol: :lol: still have to head back and complete this...

Brilliant photos, after visiting these munros years ago in terrible weather (think 3 days of being soaked and not seeing any views worth talking about) you have inspired me to go back to knoydart sooner rather than later :D :D

Cant believe you ran up your first Munro....well done :D

I've also ran this a few times too.....the plateaux I find is torture and saps the energy just as much the climb :lol:
