Re: Walking "The Wilderness" on Mull

Better late than never... I've done the walk "end to end" from Tiroran to Gribun and there was a good path all the way at shore level. You need to time your walk to coincide with low tide near the fossil tree (I had to wait till the tide went out a bit as I was too early) brilliant day out...

Beavers

Since no one else seems to be mentioning it... Interesting, all this self-congratulatory stuff from the scientists/conservationists/government about the success of Beavers. In the West they were observed, measured etc etc - and they did well. In the East, someone just let them go - and they did well...

Good report You might like to know that I was on one of the boats in Loch Euphort, in your photo. We sailed as a flotilla of Gaff rigged boats and expect that's the first time for ages there have been five gaffers in there at the same time . Amazing that you should have been there to take our pictur...
