Downloading routes to GPX Viewer

Might well be missing something obvious here but I'm having difficulty downloading the 'official' Walkhighland routes to GPX Viewer on my android phone. They are just going to the downloads section on my phone and l can't work out how to open them in GPX Viewer. I can open the 'unofficial' routes pu...

Re: Carn na Nathrach and Stob Mhic Bheathain from Glen Huric

Thanks for your help folks! I think I'll head up Carn na Nathrach first, do the whole ridge W to E, up and down Stob Mhic Bheathain then head back south of the lochan and keep above the trees until past the ford (clinging on to any available fences!) Got plenty of time to mull it over anyway. Thanks...

Carn na Nathrach and Stob Mhic Bheathain from Glen Hurich

I'm hoping to do these two hills together up Glen Hurich in the spring or summer. The obvious problem in the map seems to be linking Lochan Dubh with the end of the track in the forestry at Coire an Lochan. Don't want to have to pack my machete again! Has anyone been up this way before? Cheers, Grah...

Re: Ben Aden - Amongst the Gods of Knoydart

I've been really enjoying your reports and finding them quite inspiring as l'm currently working through the Corbetts and hopefully will get to the Grahams at some point as well! Definitely like the look of this route for the spring, by the way I think I bumped into you both on the shoulder of Beinn...

Re: Hill for a newbie.

Beinn an Lochain is a cracker of a hill. There's plenty (free) parking in a lay-by just over the Argyll side of the Rest and be Thankful and it's got loads of character and cracking views (on a good day obviously!) It's just short of being a Munro but that means you won't come across hunners of folk...

Beinn Loinne traverse

I'm thinking of going to do an east to west traverse this Thursday up Beinn Loinne and can get dropped off at the start. Does anyone know if you can walk across the dam at Loch Cluanie? If not is it possible to cross the river below by paddling? Hoping to get a shorter route than the one from the da...

Re: Three nights in Knoydart

By the sounds of it this may be a big ask. Like the sound of hiring a bike for the last half day to save my wrecked legs! May just try to climb the Munros and hit the pub on the last night.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!!

Three nights in Knoydart

Hi there everyone. First time on the forum so here goes! Myself and a pal are off to Knoydart for 3 nights in July and will be staying in the lodge at Inverie. By getting the first boat over and the last one back we could potentially have two full days and two half days for walking. First priority i...
