I can't wait to do this mountain, althoygh because I live in Glasgow I'm qute worried about the weather, it can't be a planned day, you just need to wake up one morning and wait for a nice day, I would hate to drve about 6 hours only to clib up and get no views ..... nice read from your experience ...

I went for a pair of Berghaus Aquafoil gloves initially - they proved to be reasonably wind proof but they are not waterproof by any stretch of the imagination. After reading the reviews of gloves here on WH I plumped for the Rab Latok ones - wind and waterproof. They also have a grip like a gecko....
