The bird in your picture looks very much like a golden eagle. Visited mull often and the hills around Ben more are a golden eagle hotspot.

Having just scrambled my last two cuillin munros, sgurr a mhadaidh and sgurr a greadaidh I have to agree with the majority of the recent posts that the cuillin are by far and away the finest mountains in Britain, they are hard won by the average person and you feel a huge amount of achievement just ...
