Re: So if i can do Ben Cleuch...

Yes definitely! Like someone else said, it's summer time so why not give it a go. Just make sure you're well prepared, check the weather and tell someone where you are going. There will likely be friendly people on whichever hill you choose. Happy hiking :)

LOST: sunglasses Beinn Dorain/ Beinn an Dothaidh

Think I’ve dropped a pair of ray bans on the path leading to the bealach between Beinn Dorain and Beinn an Dothaidh. If anyone comes across them I’d be very grateful to get them back! Willing to pay postage of course. My email is rhiann.middleton@hotmail.com.

Re: Conditions on Arrochar Alps

inca wrote:Hi Rhian,

We were up The Cobbler today. Just small patches of snow left in shaded areas. No issues and imagine it'll all be gone soon. Conditions on Beinn Ime and Beinn Narnain looked much the same.

Thanks so much for replying! That's brilliant, hope you had a great day on the cobbler :)

Lost rucksack: Bridge of Orchy Hotel car park

After climbing Ben Dorain today I think I've driven away without my rucksack in the bridge of Orchy Hotel car park! (Silly, I know) It's a dark grey and green Vango bag with a silver water bottle in one side and a red one in the other. If anyone has seen this I would love to hear from you. Or if any...

Re: Reached double figures with the Cairnwell Three

Nice pics. I think I would agree with you that with Carn a'Gheoidh you feel like you have earned your Munro whereas the other two you stroll along to.....especially when you take the chairlift up like I did! Thanks! Quite right. Nothing wrong with using a chair lift to help you along  :...

Reached double figures with the Cairnwell Three

I don't normally write walk reports but this is a special occasion. A few months back I set a goal to 'get my Munro count into double figures by the end of the summer' and I've now reached that :D . I set this goal as I'm having foot surgery later in the year so wanted to make the most of summer, no...

Camping around Callander

My boyfriend and I are planning on taking a camping trip on Saturday to Callander to climb Ben Ledi. I was wondering if anyone knows places to wild camp? I'm generally just looking for a spot that won't be FULL of other people, but don't mind having some company. Besides that I'm not picky really. A...

Perfect Sunday on the Cobbler

My sister, our friend and I had an excellent walk to the summit of the cobbler yesterday (Sunday 18th October). The weather was prefect the whole day with clear skies and it was surprisingly warm! We managed to thread the needle and got some amazing pictures. We also met the coolest/ cutest 5 year ol...
