Re: An Cù .Tha na laithean a' dol Seachad... the days flash

Sorry to hear hear this!
I enjoyed your walk reports when you were doing the Munros and your wee dug was in a lot of the photos.

RIP Murphy.

Gael-Charn Mòr by bike

A quick hill this one.
Pushed the bike most of the way up.
It was an easy freewheel all the way down but I took a wrong turn near the bottom and had to double back.
Weather not too bad.

Gairbeinn

It’s good to be back out on the hills. Had an enforced lay off with a knee injury but thankfully after almost four months recovery it’s good to go.👍 Thought I’d kick it off with an easy one and just took my time today. Rain on and off but good views at the top. On the whole an enjoyable day. $matche...

Sgùrr a' Mhuilinn and Meallan nan Uan

A boggy start to this one and an even boggier finish! Once up on the hill the way was blocked by a deer fence and I had to walk along it to find the gate. It was then up to Meallan nan Uan then round to Sgurr à Mhuilinn and back. Higher up on the hills was easier walking but I was still knacke...

Geal Charn (Dorback)

Cycled up the good track past Dorback Lodge to the start of the walk and hid the bike in the heather. Walked up through more heather and got tempted by a sort of track east of the GPS route. Just before reaching the ridge of Geal Charn it was peat hag city and had to pick a route up through them whi...

Meallach Mhòr And the lost landrover track

Used the bike to cycle 10 km up the glen and left it at the ruins of Bhran Cottage. Had planned to use the landrover track all the way up to the bealach as it was marked on the map but couldn't find the start of the track. I could see the track going up the hillside so just made my way across rough ...

Stob an Aonaich Mhòir

Out with the bike again and on a good tarmac road most of the way. 😎
An easy 200m ascent up a grassy heathery slope to the top and excellent views when I got there.
Was an easy downhill cycle most of the way back to the car. 👍

Càrn na Saobhaidhe

Another bike and hike with this one.
On and off the bike most of the way in.
Weather was good for most of the day but sadly not at the top.

Creag nan Gabhar

A nice wee walk round an easy landcover track.
Waded through the river on the way back as it was a ford with no bridge.
Next time I'll bring wellies!

Beinn Chuirn

Could hear shouting and swearing when I got to Coronish and still could hear it half way up Beinn Chuirn. Then I spotted a flock of sheep on Beinn Dubhchraig being herded back to the farm. Must have been the farmer shouting at the sheep and or dog! Nice views at the top over to the massive B...
