Re: Camper Van and Hill Parking

Hi, Further to a good point on one post I should say I am based in the Auchterarder / Crieff area and have done all the Munros pretty much within a 2 hour drive radius apart from maybe a few in Glencoe and Cairngorms. Looking at Munro's further afield that will be best done maybe with a stay over in...

Camper Van and Hill Parking

Hello,
Would anyone have recommendations for reasonably straight forward single or double Munros that have a good spot for parking and staying in a camper van at before shinning up?
Best,
Scott

Cycling Mount Keen

Hi,

My son is looking into cycling either all or some of Mount Keen.

If cycling all of it would anyone have any suggestions on route?

if cycling some of it; would it be better to cycle in from Glen Esk and park up before heading up the hill?

Many thanks,
Scott

Re: Fannichs

Hi,

Thanks for all the comments on this; very helpful.

We ended up following Steve Fallons route from Fannich Lodge.

Pretty full on but we agreed it was worth it (a few days later...).

Best,
Scott

Fannichs

Hi,

Planning on doing the 9 munros here in early August and following Steve Fallons proposed route. Was wondering if anyone has any comments / feedback on this or alternative routes.

Best,
Scott

Binnein Beag, Sgùrr Èilde Mòr and Binnein Mòr

Hello,

Would anyone be able to recommend the most effective route for Binnein Beag, Sgùrr Èilde Mòr and Binnein Mòr?

Had an abandon on Binnein Mòr so trying to figure out the most economic next visit!

Many thanks,
Scott

Ben Vorlich, Stuc a Chroin

First time doing more than one munro! Ben Vorlich was
pretty straight forward and Stuc a Chroin a bit of a scramble. Biggest pain was the long moor walk on
the way back!

Schiehallion

Jack and I had an early start on this Munro. Car park was quite full and just
about managed a park. Easy going to begin with but tougher as it gets higher with a large boulder field
to pass along with a snow field and a bit of a climb up the snow. Great views at the top but very busy

Ben Chonzie

First Munro with Jack @ Ben Chonzie. Was hard going even although an easy
path with some cross country towards the end. Coming from the Comrie side. Some snow patches
towards the top and some snow hares to be seen. Great first hill!!

Re: Ramsay's Round Leg 1 info: 26th May 17

Hello,

First off all thanks for posting this route. Myself and some friends are looking to plan a walk of Ramsey's route in the summer and I note you have three legs describing your route. Can I ask do you have a list of the munros on each leg? Best, Scott
