I find it odd, the claim that banana skins take two years to degrade. When I throw them on my garden flower beds, they are gone in a couple of weeks. The climate in your garden is very different from that at the top of a hill and climate plays a huge part in the speed at which things biodegrade. Al...

Have we really reached the stage where in order to achieve compliance, we have to enshrine in law the consistently communicated and widely understood guidance that tells us to stay within 5 miles of home when we exercise? Yip, the advice for Scottish Government and Mountaineering Scotland is pretty clear - don't travel more than 5 miles to reach the mountains. Makes me very jealous of those who have a Munro in their back garden! 8)
