Just wantedto say what a marvellous piece that is by Linda Cracknell and what a brilliant addition to your stable of contributor. There are million reasons for going on the hills but its good to be reminded, and so lyrically, that, in many ways, getting to the top is the least of them.

Great post, not least because it is so valubale to have accounts of reaching these more remote hills which require a certain amount of forethought. Just turning up at the roadside layby and heading (my ususal technique!) doesn't quite cut it.
