Thanks Monty,got your email but it went over my head so I sent it to my son and he is now using remote on my laptop but so far he has been unable to get it to load before he started tonight I had ordered another cable with driver so when it comes I wil see how I get on

I still need an answer to my problem if anyone can help I would appreciate it when I open memory map a box opens up saying GPS cant open Com1: Error 2 also after buying an RS 232- USB cable still cant download from GPS to laptop thanks

I can now print the map as it shows on the screen but I now have another problem, which I am sure you can help me with, before changing my computer for a laptop after a walk I could plug in my Garmin E-trex Summit and see the route I had been on I had to buy an adapter for the cable I had as the lap...

OS Map Printing

I have OS maps on my computer and sometimes print a page to carry on a walk but have found out that the grid lines are not the same as my genuine maps also when I print out a page for a walk from Walkhighlands the grid lines are right can someone help me with this please

Just a thought, for a lot of years I used Berghaus over trousers when it rained and they were very good but I got fed up having to stop to put them on and then when the rain stopped you had to take them off again, now I know thats not much of a problem but I then read about Paramo Cascada trousers a...

Last month Tiso had a sale on Mountain Hardwear down jackets £ 99 they are waterproof I bought one myself not for on the hill, too warm but good for other times dont know if they still have them
