Re: WALKHIGHLANDS SPRING MEET 19TH- 20TH APRIL 2024

Hi Jim, I've paid for two spaces, still waiting for my other mate to confirm but we'll deal with that later. The names booked thus far are Colin Welsh (that's me) and Allin Moffat.

Cheers.

Is there still spaces available? Looking for two at the moment, possibly a third (waiting to hear back from someone). Will confirm as soon as I can.

Cheers.

Re: WH WINTER MEET 2015 6th/7th/8th Nov 2015 - Torridon SYH

I'm a definite, as will Sandra (depending on her work situation), however, I'll be travelling with Kiltedbiggles so I'll / we'll only be there for the Friday night too.

Happy with a bed in the bunk room.

Re: Dubhchraig & Oss via Fiarach - Winter Calling (Day 1)

Great report Graeme. I'd been swithering with this one for the Saturday of the forthcoming Tyndrum meet and, having read this and other reports, my mind is now made up.

Re: 2 meanings for "Blown Away" on Ben Avon & Beinn a' Bhuir

Cracking report. I've still to do these two as my Caingorm complete rates aren't good. No matter how good the weather is when I leave the house it's always abominable when I get there. Sometimes it's still sunny in Aviemore, only for the weather to close-in as I arrive at the ski-centre car-park. I'...

Re: 3 Munros & a busted ankle..........again

Excellent pics. Kiltedbiggles and I done the Laggan 3 a couple of years back. Headed up after work one Friday evening and hiked up to the bealach to camp for the night, only to find that Biggles had left his tent poles in the car! Ha ha, the numpty had to kip inside a collapsed tent that night.

Re: Creag Tharsuinn from Garvie,Glendaruel,Cowal.

Once I move to Dunoon, my mate (Kiltedbiggles) is coming over to do the Grahams in the locale. He was initially keen to tag Creag Tharsuinn onto a round that included Beinn Mhor & Beinn Bheag, though I managed to talk him out of such madness in favour of doing it as a separate walk as described ...
