Re: Great to be back, up An Teallach (pics and video)
What an amazing walk and pics! The last one with the purple sky is just stunning. Sounds scary though, think I will put that off for a bit longer in my Munro career

Re: "Upper Largo - please"
Haha, good report, I felt it was as much a bus report as a walk report, not a bad thing
Good to know about another local hill, might be one for me to try as I work on my recovery!

A swift(ish) half of a Tarmachan
Thought I might as well post about a hill I did manage to do this year, before injury got me! This was the first time I'd started out intending to do one thing and ended up doing something entirely different, and I think it was good for me to realise that sometimes it's for the best if your laid pla...

Re: Singles Meet - Trying to Gauge Interest
I think I'd be more likely to come if it was just 'a meet for people who are single' rather than 'a meet for meeting other people who are single and who you might fancy', haha. I like being single and hillwalking is one of the times I can just not even care about anything else, and I'm not sure I'd...

Women who are concerned about looking their best when out in the hills might like to consult the following for some useful tips. http://nornsmercy.hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Look-Feminine-While-Camping-or-Hiking-Outdoors Yeah, cause on a hill I'm so worried about how slim my ankles look instead of act...

Re: WH SPRING Meet - Durness 10/11/12 April 2015
Don't forget the offer still stands of a lift  I'll put your name down - trust me you will enjoy it  Uh oh... looks like I don't have a choice now! I might take time off work and go up the west coast around that time and end up with you guys. It's a bit far off to know yet but I like th...

Re: WH SPRING Meet - Durness 10/11/12 April 2015
I was reluctant to take a spot in the bunkhouse because I can't be sure of my walking ability etc and didn't want to pinch someone's spot, but as it will be my first meet I'm wondering if that's a better way to get to know folk than be out somewhere on my own. Those who have been on previous meets, ...

Re: Singles Meet - Trying to Gauge Interest
I might be up for that as I guess a year of being single means I should go out and try to meet people! A guy who loves hillwalking would be ideal. However, not sure how attractive I would seem after a day puffing up a hill, haha. :) We would just have to make sure we're meeting somewhere not too rem...

Re: Nevis Via The CMD (King Of Diamonds)
What a great route, really want to do that some day. Maybe next year! Amazing to see snow already, I always forget just how incredibly high Ben Nevis is.

Re: WH SPRING Meet - Durness 10/11/12 April 2015
Bit far, but if my injury is better by then I might come along... somehow. Don't forget it almost 6 months away  You are more than welcome to accompany me on the journey north, bound to have at least one other passenger  Cheers for the offer, will let you know nearer the time. It is ages...
