Thats awful,have a dog myself and would be beside myself if in that position.
Hope Daz is found soon. If not by the weekend I will go up the area walking at weekend too. Unfortunately I cant go sooner because of work.

Stuc a chroin which is not that far from Lawers has a similar scramble,probably a bit trickier though so take care,it's a good day when done with Ben Vorlich :D Thanks for the advice pigeon, think it will be next year before I get up there, not keen on walking in the snow yet! The weather was pretty similar when I was up there, I understand how navigation could be a bit difficult as it caused us a few problems too.

Thanks pigeon, totally agree about Meall Greigh, it felt like I was never going to get there! The scramble was nothing like I had imagined,think it would be tricky coming down it so once I was past a certain point there was no way I was turning about. Nice report,some great pics aswell,was up there a few weeks ago and found it hard going but the views are worth it,looks as if you got a nice day for it to, I wandered round on my own with my dogs but it was really busy that day so was never really alone
