Re: At what point do you say something?

I wasn't going to comment as I am sure we all have a tale to tell but here are a couple anyway. :) I was with a group on Schiehallion a few years back when a couple of guys were heading down and advised us not to go any further. That was the only thing they said and walked on.We were all well equippe...

Re: National 3 Peaks

Ha! Magic Monty! :thumbup:My thoughts exactly! I done the 3 peaks back in 2000 and we climbed Scafell Pike from Seathwaite.Ok,it's longer but a more gradual ascent and that's why we chose that route.
Enjoy the 3 PC and the best of luck Stomper!

Re: Ptivatising Search and Rescue

I don't agree with some of the statements that RickKamila has made so I will try and explain my view on this subject. I have signed the petition due to the fact that windfarms are going up in so many beautiful locations. Colin Prior had an article printed in the Scotsman earlier this week stating that so many of his photographs would have wind turbines in them! I am all for "green energy" but at what pric...

Re: Romantic engagement locations

I proposed to mingsmissus on the summit of Blaven. It was her first ever day in the mountains and we had the summit all to ourselves for a while. We celebrated that night with a fab meal at The Three Chimneys. After that she was hooked on the hills!

As it's already been said, you would have had plenty of volunteers from the site to assist you but as long as you are safe and enjoy your day.I remember a few months back I offered to meet up with you when you requested WH members for comp...
