historical plane crashes must have occurred all over the UK - why leave some of the wreckages in the mountains?

I would also hope that 'lady wee' tissues could be resolved by (eg grumpy old) women - take a bag girls and painted rocks are really less of an issue then your scar on the hills

I'm really not getting this - neolithic peoples built cairns etc with really limited resources (piling stones) whilst us modern crowds (with access to spray cans) can be considered a comparison on the environmental impact?

I think I would rather come across a wee bit painted stone which reflects some positive aspect of humanity rather than the remains of a fighter/bomber aircraft where people sadly died in agony
