I found this thread and was wondering how you were getting on with your new mat!?
Would you reccomend it?
I am looking at getting a new one as at the mo I just have a cheap foam one that isnt comfortable

Thanks guys for all your advice. I bit the bullet and got some ..so far so good ...wouldnt be without them now! :) would definitely reccomend. I ended up getting the orange ones for my hill boots ..they offer the most padding under the ball of your foot, ..and then I went for the thinner blue ones f...

what 's the secret to being able to manage an epic jaunt like this? ....after long days I have problems with sore feet.

Has anyone tried superfeet? I am considering getting some as I am getting sore feet when doing long days. From what I have read they seem to support your arch and lock your heel in place and thus preventing problems?? Though at £35 - £40 they are quite pricey. So if anyone has any experience of thes...

boot dryer?
I was wondering if anyone has used a boot dryer? My walking boots got wet on Tuesday, and they're still not dry. They are gore-tex lined so I know the advice is to not apply direct heat. But the thought of stepping into damp boots for todays walk is not appealing! The leaflet that came with the boot...
