Skye Guide, Summer 2011

I want to do some walking in Skye over the Summer and would like to do so with a guide, esp for the Inn Pinn. Can anyone recommend a guide from experience?

I don't drive and plan to take train up and then bus across, is it normally poss to get a lift to the munros with the people guiding?

Munro bagging

I don't drive but like to get out most weekends, in the Summer I take the train a lot to get to places, in the Winter that's not so easy.

Looking to meet up for walks on the weekends, I live in Bathgate near Livingston

thanks :D

fionn Bheinn

Walk with Jacobites, Adrian, Ros, Fifi, Sally (x2)

most of snow had melted further down the hillside, much more snow further near summit. Mainly overcast, summit clouded over when we started, however, as we got closer cloud moved off and good views.

1st munro since brain surgery.

Ben More and Stob Beinen

walk with Marina, Monty and Janey.

Good conditions to start but lot of cloud and high winds at top. Started from Stob Binnein side so after climbing Ben More, came back down and cut off to the valley to make way around out of wind and cloud.

Bridge of Orchy (first visit)

Nice trip up early morning on the train. Usual route under the station from the platform and then straight up. Path seemed in reasonable condition on way up. Entering the corrie, the clouds were down over the edges of the cliffs and vis obviously poor. Wind already strong. On top, wind pretty strong...
