Re: A Sunny day and 2 Ballachulish Grahams

The river would be fine I think, it was a bit high due to snow melt and i was wearing running shoes and had wet fet already so i didn't look too hard for a dry spot, i just paddled through it. It is a great way to do the hill and the ridge was splendid! Hope you get as nice a day as i did :)

A Sunny day and 2 Ballachulish Grahams

A sunny day forecast and a day off work, I'd had my eye on these 2 for ages and so today was the day. I decided to do them from Ballachulish, as suggested in the Grahams book and i did fancy the ridge on Sgorr a'Choise and i didn't fancy the slog up from the A82 to Meall Mor . 7.5.13 001.JPG So I pa...

FOUND Meall A'Bhuiridh. Glasses. 14-7-11

Hi, yesterday we were heading up the north ridge of Meall a'bhuiridh from the ski buildings after the chair lift and i found a pair of glasses. In good nick, doesn't look like they have been out for long. Half frames, no case, look like mens glasses as they are quite wide. If these are yours please ...

Re: Carn Dearg and Sgor Gaibhre

Hi Phil The Hill,
We came straight down off the corbett instead of following the ridge and the descent was ok , it was the Stalkers path out along the glen by the river that was hard going but it was a grand trip out,
just in the door from doing Mount Keen, a lovely day for it

Carn Dearg and Sgor Gaibhre

Well, after my grand day out on The Fara on 4-5-11 we thought we'd keep the momentum up and we fancied a night under canvas so we went along by loch rannoch and parked at the wee loch just before Rannoch station. Set off up the old road to Fort William Sgor Gaibhre Round 001.jpg Sgor Gaibhre Round 0...

The Fara and Meall nan Eagan

Watch Found Creag Meagaidh Path

I seem to be getting good at finding things and returning them to their rightful owners,There was the GPS and the tea towel, i'm sure it's good karma! :) Anyway, yesterday, 15-3-10 me and my pal took a walk up the path to the lochan in corrie ardair beneath the window at creag meaghaidh. There had b...

Re: Trail running shoe

Hi, This probably isn't much use to you but i use innovate's mudrocs for hill running, not much cushioning (the bog does that) but light and great sole. I know that Off Beat bikes in Fort William sells them, i'm not sure if Run For It in Inverness sells them in the shop, i know they do on line Run 4...
