Beinn Mhanach was the Munro that got away a few weeks ago...the day that Polly's gear box gave up the ghost...and this needed remedied. After the strenuous walk of yesterday I was grateful for the five minute drive back to the hotel and a lovely warm shower (though the benefits of a hot bath would become apparent after the 2nd day of long slog!!).
