Tarmachan Ridge

A lovely day with Ella. late September sunshine all the way. The down climb off the second peak is a little more dodgy than it used to be, but no trouble if you take care.

Gammy;s Compleation

All the usual suspects. Weather was atrocious. My fitness was 0%. Hungover out my head as well. Great weekend all round. Well done Gammy. One year on from my own completion

That track again!

Staying in Kinlochewe for three nights. Headed out at 5am to get ML for Gammy, noe into single figures again before his completion in September. At around the 550 meters my calf tightened again and given how sore it became the last time I didn't want to risk going further or indeed slow Gammy up. So...

Back in Torridon

Gammy and I. Helping him with his last 10 Munro's. He just need this as a single. I did them as a pair the first time around. Pretty decent weather all day. Great views across to the giants. Pulled my calf mussel on the way down so the walk out was quite slow and sore.

Why oh Why?

Legs were in quite good shape so when Harry suggested this I stupidly said yes. Never previously managed these together as attempted them in full on winter conditions so it was nice to get them together. Very icy at the top od B More and Harry took a tumble. Classic crampons in bag ice under foot :c...

Glen Feshie single

Harry and I. Had intended to do its neighbour also, but weather wasn't great and we were running out of light so just did the one. On the way in the path down to the river is very eroded and at the river if it wasn't for the fallen tree we might not have got over.

Re: The report I wish I'd read about these hills

Lovely report.
Did these two again recently after a dry spell. So much less boggy than I remember.
Also took in a dip in the same rock pool as your picture

Re: Ben More, Jonny M's Compleation, FINALLY

Congratulations Jonny! It was exactly 10 years ago I met you with your daughter at the foot of Beinn Ime (her on her first Munro) and so much has happened since then, not least you climbing quite a lot of hills! It's lovely to see the photo of your family with you at your final summit. Well done th...
