I did this walk from Riverbank Cottages, Upper Carnoch, hence the longer distance recorded. The forecast was for rain for four of the days we were in Glencoe so on those days we took whatever rain-free window there was to do something local. Your wonderful photographs of the western isles never fail to make me want to go there again and do some of the walks you've done. I suspect your reports do a lot for holiday bookings to the Hebrides!

Great photos from the days when, unlike now, every shot was carefully considered. Nostalgic to see 1990s hill fashion!

We called the approach to Ben Lui the forest of gloop (fun in a masochistic kind of way!) but the approach to the other two was a walk in the park by comparison. May have had something to do with us going after a dry spell but much better than expected!

It's a cracking wee hill for this time of year. You have inspired me to climb it again, even if just to see the turf houses. You don't have to climb the hill to see the turf house but I imagine you'll want to. It was a special kind of morning for me with the frost and the views. An underrated hill....
