They're trying to demotivate us.... This is definitely the one that I'm sure you can't relate to ... :D Haha ...

"I can't remember it being this steep"

These were the words of an elderly gent who was with his good lady. I was on the descent on the ziggy zaggy ( sort of) bits when I bumped into them heading up. 3 things i noticed here and I can relate to 2 out of the 3- and I'm not saying which 2 :D 1. Age catches up with you at some point and some ...

Loch Quoich double

Had plans to do Gleouriach 1st but changed my mind when I got there. Weather was to get better as the day went on so I thought there would be better views if I ascended Spidean 1st then descended Gleouriach- and it turned out well. Good walk up to Spidean Mialach and the "trig" is a nice t...

Glencoe is beautiful, awesome, spooky, mean jaw dropping ..........
Hopefully you get back sooner than later.
I go through quite often and every time I stop and have a look at Stob Dearg
Every time it throws up a different picture for me

Re: Oh Brother ! Lui, Lui, Lui

Hehe brilliant.

That river crossing- I had bin bags on and ended up trying to hold them up whilst crossing, the water came over the top and I was soaked before reaching the other side!!

As for your "fabulous path all the way".
Hopefully heading to Gleouriach tomorrow.

Re: Ben Lomond

Brilliant; love it.

You might slip a wee bit on some other pathless slopes with the trainees on though. :)

Onwards and upwards. Hopefully you've got the bug.

Re: North Glen Sheil Five

You didn't mention having to scale the fence yesterday at the start. Annoyed me a bit as the "walkers gate" also had a chain and padlock on it!! Ah - that's because I didn't! I recall being surprised at that walkers gate, because it looked like it was fully secured, but on closer inspecti...

If you decide to head to the cairngorms I'd say you have to include The white mounth circuit somewhere in those 3 days.
