I'm looking to do Ben Hope sometime, a wednesday would be the day of the week, would prefer to split the costs though as it's like a 6 or 7 hour drive plus the company would be great, I would drive no probs .... I'm 34, easy to get on with, from Glasgow, love my hill walking, love meeting new people...

Decided to bag Munro No.4 today and take the hour drive up to Arrocher and climb Ben Narnain. Just went on my own and it was quite easy to find, just drive to Arrocher on the A83 that goes to the left, not the right at Loch Lomond, drive to Arrocher past the petrol station and then park at the next ...

Ben Cruachan + Stob Diamh (My 2nd + 3rd Munro)

Today (22nd May 2012) I planned to climb Ben Cruachan which through photos on this website looked an awesome climb. It was fairly easy to find, we parked at the train station as told to by the many reports. From there it took us just under an hour to walk up to the Scottish Power - Power Station and...

Ben Lomond (my 1st munro - June 2010)

2 years ago I was talked into doing a hill climb, non other than Ben Lomond. At the time I was a smoker, very unfit a...
