Double cherry pop on Schiehallion.....

I knew last week that I had the day off today for going hill walking, but until Sunday did not know for sure where that walk would take me. I had been in conversation with fellow walkhighland member Pollyh33 during the week, as we tried to get together for a walk that neither of us had done previous...

Schiehallion 30th Jan...

Planning on doing this with Polly tomorrow, meeting at the Braes of Foss car park at ten o'clock...Polly and Jelly McBaby are both Schiehallion virgins...but are both looking forward to being broken in (as it were). :lol:

Dont think my knees are up for two Munros in a day yet, and maybe not enough day light hours this time of year for me, maybe in a few months when my fitness is better If you change your mind let me know...I may not manage both either...starting to feel all last years aches and pains now that the ad...

I have a window of opportunity to go walking next wednesday and have yet to do any of the Arrochar Alps. If anyone fancies meeting up and attempting these two with a cumbersome old bloke, feel free. :lol: :lol:

Don't let the pics fool you Alistair...I managed to find loads of ice to slip about on!! Beinn Bhreac is a lovely walk, once you get through the access slopes of undergrowth...

Susie, the custard was not as bad as it sounds, though clearly it should not be repeated as I think all my fillings melted!!!
