I have the sea to summit TR2 plus - used solo with my Westie and also accommodated my teenage son

excellent lightweight tent - would recommend the plus variant means the inner has less mesh and won't be so cold in spring/autumn if breezy.

i upgraded from a wild country and saved myself over 1.5kg

As said above most dogs can fit hill requirements, it is the off hill home life that is the deciding factor. Once old enough just ease then into hill trips building up mileage and toughening paws In my hill life of over 40 years - had lots different canine hill companions (ours or hill walking pals)...

I was lucky
