You're a brave man to tackle Dartmoor after all the rain we've had down here. I've been giving it a miss in preference for coast path walks. I always hate that farm at Beardown. What a Stunner Foggie.....amazing how things change in the hills and I bet your chuffed to bits you did this and carried on when it would have been to easy to turn around!! Some amazing shots as well. Not ever done this route but will add it to my bucket list now!! :D :clap:

Well done Foggy.....I did Castlerigg/High Rigg a few years back with my (now) wife....lovely wander and some great views....however...we had much the same conditions!! Great to see it again and bring back some nice memories! :D :clap:

I'm glad you managed to complete this walk, Gary, and really enjoyed your report; such a lot of interesting information :thumbup: Great photos as well :D and broke through the surface of the bog....up to my crotch! Apart from being cold and a bit uncomfortable it took me a good 5 minutes to get out...

our_route.gpx This was the walk that I had aimed to do a few weeks back but was thwarted by the weather! The forecast for Sunday was much better and I had also the common sense this time to carry the bad weather gear for the dogs so hopefully no problems this time! Also a word from the wise...part ...
