Today's/yesterday's installment. Yesterday the gates opened and stayed open. I'm guessing the ski centre were quite pleased about that. As its getting a bit repetitive I'm planning on doing one over several days so you can see the snow melt.

Went for a wee stroll up Scotly Hill here in Banchory on Saturday. Just 5-8 cm on the windward side but 2-3 times that on the lee side - and pretty windy & chilly at the top.

Thanks for all the positive feedback peeps 8) I've been working on making my app multi-threaded so that I can download several webcams at once. It's going well so I'm on the lookout for further suitable webcams. The TrafficScotland ones block direct access to I can't use them. The WinterHighalnd one...

Yes to FFMPEG, no to Linux. I'm a C# programmer so I'm using the AForge port/wrapper. Dead easy in the end (& so much easier than using Photoshop its laughable!). This question on StackOverflow got me started.
