Re: Where's the pic England v5

Isle of Wight, maybe, but again I'm not at all sure (and it's not really a group of hills).

Re: Individual Hill Walk Reports

You're ok if you write a whole report in one go, you can choose the hills as early as you like then - but yes, they do like to fall out if you save a draft.

Re: Individual Hill Walk Reports

Usually you see your own reports in a little separate section above the main list - have you looked there, or have they just vanished?

Re: Little Mell Fell missing from Wainwright Map

Little Mell Fell has gone home now, but there still seem to be two hills having a holiday in the sea - Newtyle Hill and Cruach Lerags :D

Re: Beinn dearg

Dwelly gives 13 different meanings of aonach, including 'prince', 'galloping' and 'panting for breath' :D I think my favourite is the very specific 'Green plain near the shore on a stony bottom (a machair has a sandy bottom).' He doesn't actually give ridge specifically, but the primary meaning seem...

Re: Where's the Picture................Wales 2013

I thought the giraffe was an enormous head popping up above the hill with long nose and darker neck and ear, and couldn't understand where its feet came in. This morning I suddenly see the other picture, although I think I still prefer mine!

Corbett images missing

For some reason the images seem to be missing for Corbetts in the speech bubble things you get when clicking on the map, both on the Corbett map and the all hills map.

As far as I can tell by clicking at random it's affecting all the Corbetts and none of the other hills.

Re: Bumper haul of 11 Fife Tumps & a piano

But did you climb the piano? I'm not sure you can really claim it in your haul if you didn't! :D

Re: Latrigg: easy, yet still ended up in hospital (video rep

At least they would never need to use their equipment on themselves.

Re: Latrigg: easy, yet still ended up in hospital (video rep

I managed to get round the Wainwrights without seeing the inside of Penrith hospital - it sounds like an adventure in its own right! (I did once end up in the minor injuries clinic in Berwick, after falling off a bike in the College Valley.) Latrigg's a nice wee hill, though, when it doesn't turn vi...

Re: Distance

Some walks will say that they are one way only - sections of long distance paths as standard, and anything which says in its name that it is from X to Y, where the summary will probably start 'This linear walk....' (e.g. https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/lothian/dalmeny-estate.shtml) Highland ridge wa...

Re: Hewitt list changes

I don't know if this is related to the changes, but none of the Hewitt lists seem to be marking my climbed hills in green (I expected Combe Head to stand out in the Region list).

The other hill lists seem to be fine, although I haven't checked every variation!
