Arenig Fach

Early morning visit, but poor visibility above 500m. Heavy going through heather and bog. Following the (non-existing) wall on the right hand side would be a better idea. The return would be a poor ascent route.

Lugnaquillia

Lugnaquilla from Glenmalur. A return after 10 years to seek better views. Thwarted by the last 50 m at the summit, and did not come out of the cloud until the top of the zig zag path. Very cold wind on the ridge to the summit and icy sleet turning to rain on the return.

Northern snow walk

Intermittent snow showers and sunny spells, new snowfall made for heavy going. Not enough daylight to complete ascent so took direct route back to road.
