The highways have announced that the A66 will re-open tomorrow morning! Its been closed for what feels like an age.

I have several routes planned on memory map but havnt been able to get across to stetch the old legs - I think I might be suffering from house feaver :?

Anyone been having problems getting to start of routes? I put a post on last week about a trip I planned over in the Lakes (viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3045) and couldnt get there due to the A66 trans-pennine route being closed. Its been open on and off during the week but its all a bit hit and miss. ...

Most of Antarctica has had warmer weather lately than the UK! The BBC news ran a feature the other day which showed temps in the city’s of the northern hemisphere; the UK was bar far the coldest pace with Moscow, Alaska and Poland coming in much warmer – even Canada was warmer than the Highlands ye...
