Re: Could anyone please help to identify some birds Part 1

I don't think the last one is a Pipit, tail looks too short, has a look of a Wheatear to me.

Re: Pine marten

Jam isn't too bad for them, salt is more of a problem, I used to feed peanut butter but was advised to use jam instead.

Re: Large Cats in Scotland?

If you see a snake in Scotland it is most likely an Adder, there have been a few sightings of Grass snakes in the borders, but all highland snakes are Adders.

Re: Loch Lee and a Golden Eagle

A favourite haunt of mine, I too have pictures of this bird, I do hope it and it's partner are allowed to flourish in relative peace.

Re: Wild animals in Wild land

I agree with Cameron, you cannot fence in predators and prey it is both illegal and immoral, if and it's a HUGE IF, predators like Lynx or Wolves are let loose, they have to be loose, anything else is not fair to the animals. But then you have to say is it fair to allow Wolves to chase and hunt Deer...

Re: Schiehallion

Well done, only thing I would say is don't rely on a mobile phone, you won't always get a signal.
