Parked 1.3km west of Merkland and cycled in to the foot of the hill. Good views on descent, but clag up top.

Romans and Reivers route - not for walking

Day One : Parkgate (Ae) to east of Beattock (camped at Grid 103038) Day Two: East of Beattock to Craik (camped at Grid 346078) Day Three: Craik to Hawick Solo and wild camped this route over three days. As a walking route it was pretty awful, 80% fire roads, 15% tarmac, 5% other. Probably more suite...

Sail Gorm on Quinag

Return to Quinag to get the last Corbett. Cloud base at 600m. Cleared on the descent off the bealach with spectacular views. Met by S, I, M on the way back to the car after thier walk at Lochinver.

Meall na h-Aisre up the unmapped road

From the Corrieyairick road past the Melgarve substation and then gravel vehicle track to within 200m of the summit. Good views.
