Blimey Pete ,that's an adventure and a half,so easy to come the wrong way of a cloudy summit by just walking in the direction you think you should be going rather than actually making sure,done it a number of times and will probably do it again :lol:

Well done polly ,also done these as a solo about this time last year,probably my worst day on the hills yet,had a major waterproofs malfunction ,got soaked ,took bad cramp and that boggy path on the way back NIGHTMARE :(

Just love this whole area of Loch Etchachan and Loch Avon. Cheers Kev and Skuk ,Polly no sure about alternatives to the path ,maybe it's not always like that it had rained quite heavy for most of the week,would recommend the clockwise route as apart from the path it looks like a long slog up carn laith,better to head up the path to the lochan and climbing u...
