Re: Plan B - An Socach

OMG  The canine police are onto to us. Ruby being only 9 months old needs a wee bit help especially over stony ground. Re: Invervar Circuit (4 munros)

Thanks for the tips but I have done this walk twice now and twice I have done it in pouring rain :( The things you do for your other half (suhowfar)!! Also in clag it is good to know something about navigation but when just starting out you assume that all will be right! :D The steep walk after the ...

Re: Eastern Mamores

Good stuff and an area that I haven't been to yet. It seems to have a very special quality and the hills are all so individual. I'll have to wait to do this for a bit longer but thought the report was really informative with some good pics. Well done and especially like the pic of Ben Nevis from ano...

Re: An Socach (Braemar) from Glen Clunie

Hi again Howzat and good to meet you at the summit of An Socach. :D its interesting that having a look at previous reports as to the actual 'true' summit though the stone wind shelter seems to be the winner by a short head!! It seems that this isn't a popular hill but the views at the end were great...

Re: Ben Chonzie from Loch Turret

Definitely the best way to do this Munro as it (a bit undeservedly) gets no good things written about it from the Comrie side. :( There is always somnethimg to see with plenty wildlife about. I think the snow helped you down the west side as it was very boggy when I did it compensated by almost bump...
