Re: A 69 year old wild camps on the Skye Trail

Excellent report and it shows you are never too old. Brilliant and you have been so lucky with the weather. Nothing beats wild camping on days like this.

Solo West Highland Way in October

I shared the pickup ride back to the trail with White Hat and her husband, who turned out to be cheerful Canadians ... turned out to be from Minnesota and were going on to Inverness and then Skye after finishing the Way, so I offered them a few recommendations. ...

Cape Wrath 2019

The Cape Wrath Trail formed the second half of a longer journey that comprised of walking just over 400 ... when possible and taking the opportunities to climb higher for some lovely views of Skye and of Eilean Donan castle. The 17 miles on tarmac and concrete were only made palatable ...

I am, like you a bit slower but always get there in the end, it took me 15 hours to complete An Teallach with two companions last yea...

Re: A 69 year old wild camps on the Skye Trail

I would have survived, but been t...

Re: A 69 year old wild camps on the Skye Trail

Interesting walk. This May seemed like a normal August...wait, no it isn't, it rains all the time in Skye in August.

Oldies rule OK
