Welcome Kev, good to see someone from Forres! I'm from there myself but now live in Inverness. Zebidee - great Bakers indeed - presume you're talking about MacLeans and not Ashers!! (MacLeans also now in Grantown and Nairn - and hopefully one day they'll reach Inverness and get rid of Harry Gows!)....

Do they have a shop that you can visit in Nairn (in that industrial estate?) or are they purely online retailer? The second tent I bought, was an online deal, but went through to the Industrail estate where they are based and picked it up from there. I dont think they have a shop to browse through ...

Dont know if anyone has tried WildDay at Nairn. Bought a couple of tents from them, and got a good deal.

Anyway, try for yourself and see what you think.

Hi there. I've only been in Caithness once and it was very snowy - this winter. Like, really snowy! - the A9 was blocked. Liked it though the prehistoric monuments were mostly buried in white stuff!! It's not that flat - you have Morven :) Dont talk to me about the A9, got stuck on the Daviot for 9...
